Introducing

The Rosemont Preserve

Introducing the Rosemont Preserve, in what will become our world-class nature preserve and integrate our rich and unique history into the tapestry that makes up beautiful, vibrant Fairlawn. The Rosemont Preserve will provide an extraordinary glimpse into our amazing and diverse wildlife and flora.

Visitors will experience boardwalks, trails and overlooks to the breathtaking scenery. It will strengthen regional trail and waterway connections and offer a myriad of opportunities to explore the outdoors 365 days a year. It will provide flood control and aquatic enhancements, vegetative and land improvements, and will prove to be a mecca for those wanting to experience all that nature has to offer, creating an ecotourism industry in Fairlawn.

Groundbreaking and construction begins in December 2025 with project completion expected by December 2027.

Project Plans Powerpoint

A portion of the former Rosemont Country Club will become a passive use nature preserve with walking trails, storm water retention and water quality features. Bicentennial Park will be the new trail head and will continue as Fairlawn's concert venue. A small parking lot will also be added on South Cleveland Massillon Road.
