The SS4A: The Fairlawn Traffic Safety Initiative

We listen to our constituents. The voices of our residents, businesses and visitors is very important to us and to that end, we are putting in place some exciting and innovative items to make your experience along The 18 Corridor that much more special.

It’s called the Safe Streets and Roads For All (SS4A) program, but we simply call it the Fairlawn Traffic Safety Initiative. And through this initiative, you will see the City of Fairlawn implementing a number of projects in the coming years to demonstrate various safety improvements and initiatives.

We are happy to report that we have earned a Demonstration Grant to proceed with these important changes and would like to invite you to follow along as these begin to take shape. Residents, businesses and visitors alike will start to see innovative traffic and pedestrian improvements and we look forward to bringing those to life throughout our vibrant city.
